As well as the £3 national fare cap scheme, bus passengers in Oxfordshire benefit from further great fare offers.
MyBus Oxfordshire tickets, launched in July 2024, provide one day or one week’s unlimited travel on nearly all local bus services in the County.
Please see the MyBus ticket page for further information.
The fare for thousands of single bus journeys in England has been capped at £3 until the end of March 2027. This is thanks to the Government funded National Bus Fare Cap Scheme.
In addition to this, single bus journeys in Oxfordshire on Sundays during December 2023 and 2024 cost just £1, with a similar offer planned for December 2025. This initiative is funded by the UK Government as part of Oxfordshire’s Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP).
Did you know that you can now buy a combined Park and Bus ticket at Oxford’s P&R sites for just £4 for a car with only one adult, or £5 for a car and two adults? The ticket covers both parking and return bus travel to the city centre at all five sites and is available at onsite ticket machines or on the Ringo app for a small fee. This discount has been funded by the County Council, Oxford City Council, Oxford Bus Company and Stagecoach. Find out more about Park & Ride here.
Separately and working together as a partnership, the County Council and bus operators have invested in maintaining and developing the county’s bus network over recent years.
